Print policy.
We print what you approve, the way you approved it, and we tell you up front what a print can and can't do.
Files and materials
Send STL, STEP or OBJ. No file? A photo or sketch with a few measurements is enough to start, and we quote the modeling.
We print in PLA, PETG and TPU, and we'll suggest the right one for the job. Need another material? Ask, and we'll quote it if we can get it.
What we won't print
- Weapons or weapon parts, including firearm parts and accessories
- Anything that is illegal to make or own
- Logos, characters or designs owned by someone else, unless you have permission
- Copies sold as another brand's original part
- Anything meant to hurt people or animals
We may turn down any job.
What to expect
- Prints show fine layer lines and small variations. Our standard tolerance is ±0.5 mm, or ±0.5% of the length on longer parts, whichever is larger. Tight fits need a test print, which we quote.
- Printed parts aren't rated for safety-critical, medical, food-contact or life-safety load-bearing use unless we agree in writing.
- Prototypes take rounds. We quote each round before we print it.
Reprints and pickup
If a part doesn't match the approved file and spec, we reprint it free. Design changes after approval are billed as a new print.
We tell you when your order is ready and hold it for 30 days. After that, we send one reminder, then recycle it.
Your files
We use your files only for your job and never share them. We keep them for 12 months so reorders are easy, then delete them. Ask any time and we'll delete them sooner.
